Rex severed the Death Knight's massive head, sending it flying.
Rex had killed the last Death Knight, but there was no joy on his face.
Although all the Death Knights who had charged out were dead, one had still managed to escape. And that Death Knight had been the most crucial of them all: he had successfully rescued Scott.
This left Rex in a foul mood, and he vented his anger directly on these Death Knights. He unleashed his overwhelming strength, and although they were far from weak, they were no match for him.
They had covered Scott's retreat with their lives. By the time Rex killed the last of them, he had lost his chance to continue the pursuit.
