Time slipped by, and several days passed in the blink of an eye. A hazy night settled over the sky, leaving the world pitch-black. Tonight was especially dark, without a trace of moonlight.

Neither of the two moons unique to Azeroth appeared.

Rex had been busy lately. His main task each day was dealing with matters in the Eastern Plaguelands.

The situation in the Eastern Plaguelands had deteriorated, and a portal was suspected to have appeared.

Suspicion alone was not enough. They needed evidence.

Rex knew all too well how difficult it was to build a portal. The resources required were astronomical, and resources alone were not enough. People also had to work together to make it possible.

The first undead army to come through would certainly not have been very large.
