Chapter 667: The Escape from Durnholde Incident (1) "Something's gone wrong."
"Something's gone terribly wrong."
That was exactly how Rex felt at that moment. The battle report in his hand had utterly ruined the good mood he had enjoyed during the past few relaxing months.
Rex had been in excellent spirits lately after defeating the Burning Legion. On top of that, the land grab in Outland had been progressing smoothly.
"Are you out of your mind? You actually came to me with something like this?" Rex stared at the little girl before him, fell silent for a moment, then could no longer hold back.
Rex had never been good-tempered, but a man in his position knew how to keep his thoughts hidden. After so many years of experience, concealing his emotions was the most basic of skills.
He would not let outsiders discern his thoughts from changes in his expression.
But now, Rex could no longer restrain himself. This was outrageous. Utterly outrageous.
It was outrageous beyond belief. He picked up the teacup on the table, ready to hurl it at the short, silver-haired girl before him.
In the end, however, he held back. Forcing down his anger, he brought the cup to his lips and drained the tea in one gulp.
Then he tossed the cup onto the table. Bang!
The cup was quite well made. It did not break, but rolled across the table until a hand stopped it.
"Your Highness, please don't lose your temper. Anger will cloud your judgment."
"You should calm down and face this wisely." Tirion Fordring steadied the cup with one hand and gave Rex a firm tug with the other. After setting the cup back in place, he offered his advice in a low voice.
"I lost my composure." Rex sat down
