Today's recommendation placements really took me on a roller coaster. At first, all I saw was a recommendation on a category contents page, worse than even the most pathetic promotion, and I wanted to die. This week I'd had a spot in one of the six channels on the front page-the difference was just too huge. After scheduling the chapters, I went straight out to get some air. I never expected that when I logged in just now, I'd discover I also had a featured recommendation in my category. I was instantly overjoyed. If I'd gotten that featured spot from the start, I wouldn't have been nearly this happy. Looks like a disappointment followed by a pleasant surprise really does work wonders.

The clamor of the day slowly faded, and the hazy darkness of night enveloped the land once more.
