The Eastern Kingdoms, Lordaeron, Tirisfal Glades!
On the coast.
The waves of the Great Sea battered the shores of Tirisfal Glades, one after another.
Spray blossomed, and ripples shimmered across the sea.
A gentle breeze drifted past. Under its touch, the wild grass growing along the shore swayed from side to side, bowing again and again as though kowtowing to someone.
It was noon, and sunlight poured down from the sky. Rays shone onto the sea, and the water reflected their light.
Just then, specks of purple light slowly began to appear along the shore.
The purple specks coalesced out of thin air, gathering from the sunlight. Slowly, their glow deepened from pale violet to dark purple.
Once the purple lights appeared, they clustered together and began rotating clockwise according to some indescribable pattern. Gradually, their glow grew deeper.
A purple vortex appeared on the shore, radiating a profound, distant aura.
It kept spinning beside the sea. After an unknown length of time, an arm reached out from within the purple vortex. The arm was white, without a trace of flesh or blood. It was a skeletal arm.
Gradually, a body emerged as well. It was a skeleton, with sunken eye sockets and exposed bones around his mouth, his teeth anything but sharp. A purple robe draped his frame, making him look somewhat less scrawny.
Exquisite designs and patterns were embroidered on the robe.
It was extraordinarily sumptuous. The skeleton's mouth opened slightly, revealing a faint blue glow.
Blue flames flickered constantly within his sunken eye sockets. He
