Rex had a reason for leaving the Warcraft System world and returning to the real world. So, as soon as the expansion of the Warcraft System world was complete, Rex left it. He had reached the point where he had to make an appearance in the real world.

Once he had put his affairs in the real world in order, Rex immediately plunged back into the Warcraft System world.

The Warcraft System world had just expanded, and its environment had changed dramatically. Rex, however, had no interest in any of that. He headed straight for the Goblin Shop. Right now, leveling up was his highest priority. Raising his level was what he needed most.

Countless ravines ran between them, splitting what had once been an unbroken landmass. Only a few stretches still connected the fragments, linking them all together like a rope. Traveling across them was difficult. They did not form a straight line that Rex could simply follow to his destination.

He had to wind back and forth, which was why reaching the Goblin Shop had taken him so long.
