Though the mustached Grodow repeatedly spoke of the knights' valor as if he admired them, his tone was rather contemptuous and laced with sarcasm. His true opinion was quite the opposite.

While the figures cannot be false, they are still too remote for the people of Gilneas. To borrow Prince Rex's words, hearing is no proof; seeing is believing. It would be better to hold a military exercise and let everyone witness the knights' valor," Baron Ashbury said, the first to voice his agreement.
