"No," Rex answered immediately after Arthas asked. What a ridiculous question. At a time like this, even if Rex had ties to Scott, he would never admit it.

After hearing Rex's answer, Arthas said nothing more and fell silent. The discussion continued, but Rex remained quiet for most of it, much like Kael'thas. Not long ago, Kael'thas had confessed his love to Jaina and been rejected. Rex knew about it, as did everyone else present.

"The Ghostlands are too dangerous. The Forest Trolls could threaten the caravan at any moment. Given our friendship, I wouldn't presume to ask you to deliver them to Gilneas, but you could at least get them to Dalaran." The moment Rex heard that he would have to collect the magical materials for building defensive towers from the Ghostlands, he shook his head, then made his rather shameless request.
