Naga stared at the shattered hole in the main unit's casing. After a long silence, she finally reached a conclusion:
Not every appliance could be fixed by hitting it. Some so-called "experience" was actually completely unreliable.
She walked onto the balcony and looked up at the night sky. The heavens were black as ink, without the faintest trace of Starlight. Only the endless streetlights below merged into a river of mortal-world stars flowing across the ground.
She took out her phone, intending to call Chen Moxin... Her "beloved dog" seemed fairly influential, so sending someone to fix the network problem should not have been difficult.
Yet the call would not go through at all. Naga frowned. This was the first time she had encountered such a situation. Though she had become thoroughly at ease living in human society, this sudden turn of events still left her somewhat at a loss.
She returned from the balcony to the room in frustration.
On the rooftop of a high-rise in the distance, Mai Sakatoku watched Naga's window through binoculars. Her black skintight outfit perfectly outlined her graceful curves.
"Damn, Potato Chip, you're ruthless," she chuckled into her Bluetooth earpiece. "Cutting off an internet-addicted girl's connection hurts no less than stealing a dragon's treasure."
The sound of Su Enxi crunching potato chips came through the earpiece.
"What internet-addicted girl? That's an Internet-Addicted Dragon. Boss specifically warned us that she's dangerous."
"Did Boss reveal her exact identity?"
"He only said she's a powerful Second Generation Dragon, with a threat level possibly comparable to a Dragon King."
Mai Sakatoku sucked in a sharp breath. "Don't tell me she's another monster like the Feathered Serpent God? Last time, that thing used Rhine like Dragon Breath and nearly scared me to death. It might not be as powerful
