Hun Xuzi

More than ten days later, the bright glow of the flame-shaped mark at the center of the hall's Stone Gate finally faded, and the doors slowly opened.

A steady voice came from within. "Come in."

Mu Chen and the others walked forward together.

The air in the room was unusually scorching, and the rich fragrance of pills had yet to fully dissipate.

There was no pill cauldron. Had it been put away...? Mu Chen wondered to himself.

He fixed his gaze on the extraordinary-looking man seated cross-legged on a meditation cushion, dressed in black robes.

"Hun Yufeng pays his respects to Grandmaster Hun Xuzi." Hun Yufeng bowed slightly and spoke respectfully.

"Young Clan Leader, there is no need for such formality." Hun Xuzi nodded in return.

"I will be cultivating in the Great Luo Territory for some time. I hope Grandmaster Hun Xuzi will look after me."

"If you need anything, simply call for me. I will offer you the greatest support possible." Hun Xuzi readily agreed.

After responding to Hun Yufeng, he noticed Mu Chen, an unfamiliar face, and asked, "Who is he?"

Mu Chen stepped forward. His right thumb lightly rubbed the Space Ring on his index finger as he took out the letter of introduction Hun Xiao had given him.

"This junior is Mu Chen. My master is Hun Xiao. She instructed me to come pay my respects to Grandmaster Hun Xuzi. This is the letter she gave me for you."

Mu Chen used spiritual energy to send the letter before Hun Xuzi.

Hun Xuzi accepted the letter and tapped the seal with his fingertip. He drew out a sheet of paper covered in crooked little writing. The words suddenly gathered together, transforming into a streak of black light that shot into Hun Xuzi's brow.
