Chapter Summaries

Lu Mingfei found himself in a freezing polar Nibelungen, while Caesar, Finn, and Chen Motong searched the snowfield for a research station after returning to the Elevated Bridge. The three spotted fresh polar bear tracks and decided to hunt the bear for food and warmth.

• Lu Mingfei stepped out of the tunnel into an endless snowfield, and He Xiaomeng identified it as a polar Nibelungen.
• Lu Mingfei used the map to keep track of the tunnel exit and decided to return to Aunt's house for warmer clothes and supplies.
• Caesar, Finn, and Chen Motong entered the Elevated Bridge Nibelungen again, but found themselves stranded in a snowfield with their car stuck.
• Finn received a radio signal that NOMA believed came from a scientific research station, so the three set out across the snow to find it.

Finn, Chen Motong, and Caesar reached an abandoned research station after a Dragon Raja polar bear ambushed them and badly wounded Caesar. They secured the building and found supplies and a working signal transmitter, but Caesar remained in critical condition.

Lu Mingfei reunited with Chen Motong, Finn, and Caesar in the frozen Nibelungen and saved Caesar with his Spirit Word. After they exchanged information, they suspected that an existence even more powerful than Odin had combined Nibelungen from across the world.

• Lu Mingfei entered the shelter and reunited with Chen Motong and Finn, who explained how they had become trapped in the ice-and-snow Nibelungen after encountering Odin.

After respawning, he returned to Caesar, Finn, and Chen Motong with warm clothes and told them he had found a dangerous route onward, which Caesar agreed to take.

• Lu Mingfei cut through serpentine monsters in an iceberg valley and discovered a tropical rainforest on the other side.
• Lu Mingfei entered the rainforest, was bitten by a poisonous spider, and recovered after waiting for the venom's effects to pass.

Lu Mingfei returned from his conversation with Lu Mingze and joined his companions as they reached the forest near the pyramid. The group found hundreds of bird-beaked creatures prostrated before the structure.

• Lu Mingze told Lu Mingfei that he had exchanged the rest of Lu Mingfei’s life for two chances to go all out, then Lu Mingfei returned to the speedboat.

• Lu Mingfei’s group saw a yellow-robed priest preparing to sacrifice three bound Executive Department agents and learned from He Xiaomeng that the bird-men’s prayer was in Dragon Script.
• Chen Motong’s words reminded Caesar that Naga had used a similar prayer, prompting the group to suspect the bird-men and Naga worshipped the same god.
• Caesar fired at the priest to stop the sacrifice, and Finn opened fire on the kneeling bird-men.

• Su Enxi fell and was cut off by Bird-men, but grabbed one by the throat and stomped its face before Lu Mingfei pulled her free.
• Lu Mingfei awakened his Golden Eyes and Dragon Blood, then fought through the encirclement with Su Enxi and reunited with Caesar.

Lu Mingfei killed the Bird-man leader, freed three captive agents, and entered the pyramid to escape the pursuing Bird-men. He continued alone into the karst cave below, where he used the “Black Sheep Wall” cheat code to reveal the maze map as he searched for Erii.

• Lu Mingfei charged through the Bird-men guards and killed the yellow-robed priest with a single slash.
• He cut the three agents free, then led them into the pyramid after He Xiaomeng suggested they hide inside.
• Lu Mingfei guided the agents through the passage to a burial chamber, where He Xiaomeng identified a Bird-man corpse from her first mission.

• The White King rose, revealing Erii curled inside a blood-red amber embedded in her chest, and Lu Mingfei said he had finally found her.

Lu Mingfei found Erii fused with Yamata no Orochi and the Feathered Serpent God, but the White King's consciousness made her attack him. After repeated deaths, he discovered that Erii was helping him reach the amber and returned to the shrine determined to move faster and free her.

• Lu Mingfei recognized Erii's voice in the white dragon, but He Xiaomeng explained that Erii, the White King, and the Feathered Serpent God were locked in a struggle within it.
• Lu Mingfei charged the dragon and was killed by an illusion, then reloaded at the shrine.

After Erii’s consciousness regained control, Lu Mingfei shattered the amber in the dragon’s chest, while the illusory battle ended with the Black Dragon victorious and a terrifying presence concealed among the stars.

• After repeated failures against the White King, Lu Mingfei used one of his remaining berserk awakenings and transformed with dragon blood and wings.
• Lu Mingfei charged the White King, resisted her Saha World illusion, and encountered Lu Mingze in the form of a Black Dragon within it.
• The Black Dragon fought the White Dragon as Amon watched from an iceberg.

Lu Mingfei found Erii, but she crumbled into dry bones because she had been sustained by the White King's power. Lu Mingze suggested that defeating the Black Dragon Emperor and gaining the authority of Causal Separation might let Lu Mingfei save her, while Mai Sakatoku spotted a massive shadow approaching the boat.

• Lu Mingfei held Erii as she withered away, and his Spirit Word Do Not Die could not revive her.
• Lu Mingze explained that Erii could not survive apart from the White King and suggested using the Black Dragon Emperor's authority of Causal Separation to save her.
• Lu Mingfei gathered Erii's bones, placed them on a stone platform, and left to bring the three agents with him.
• Caesar, Su Enxi, and Mai Sakatoku kept the beaked monsters occupied from their speedboat while they waited for Lu Mingfei.
• Mai Sakatoku spotted a massive black shadow swimming behind the boat and warned the others.

Lu Mingfei searched his hometown Nibelungen for a way forward, while Caesar and Chen Motong were swept into the same city and brought to a mansion by Odin’s giant wolves. The chapter left Caesar and Chen Motong entering the mansion to face the god-king.

• Lu Mingfei settled the three rescued agents in a house, then used his aunt’s window to reach the city Nibelungen and found his uncle’s car keys.
• Lu Mingfei checked Sacred Heart Benevolent Hospital, found nothing unusual, and drove toward Zero Elevated Bridge.
• Caesar and Chen Motong were swept over a waterfall while escaping a giant python and crossed from the rainforest Nibelungen into Lu Mingfei’s hometown.

Pompeii revealed himself to Caesar as his father and as Odin, then died after warning Caesar to flee the Nibelungen with Chen Motong. Elsewhere, Lu Mingfei drove across Zero Elevated Bridge in a storm and saw a gigantic dragon rise from the water.

• Pompeii removed his mask and revealed his identity to Caesar, explaining that Caesar was his human mother's Hybrid son.
• Pompeii told Caesar he was dying from injuries sustained in an ambush and warned him to leave the Nibelungen with Chen Motong, guided by Geri and Freki.
• Pompeii fell silent and died, leaving Caesar shocked and grieving.
• Lu Mingfei drove onto Zero Elevated Bridge through heavy rain and saw a mountain-sized dragon emerge from the water.
