On the way there, Chen Miao looked through the book again. Its contents had changed slightly, but not by much.

Chen Miao experienced firsthand just how difficult the mountain paths were. Only after they found the dry riverbed the old man had mentioned and followed it downhill did the going become much easier.
A full two and a half hours later, they spotted the village built at the foot of the mountain not far away.
They were approaching from uphill, so standing in the riverbed gave them a clear view of the entire village below.
"This village is pretty well built."
Qi Ning spoke as he looked at the village.
