After several days of study and experimentation, Chen Miao had gained a fairly thorough understanding of the upgraded notebook's capabilities.
He had to admit that spending those ten jin of yin virtue on it had been far more worthwhile than spending them on statuses!
The first new function was State Fusion!
As the name suggested, it allowed him to fuse two or more statuses into a new one!
The number of statuses on Chen Miao's panel was now approaching fifty.
Of those, he regularly used fewer than ten.
The rest weren't useless, but he rarely had occasion to use them.
And some of their abilities overlapped.
For instance, [Status: Copper Skin and Iron Bones].
After Chen Miao acquired that status, the bonuses from statuses such as [Status: Foot Strength], [Status: Heat Resistance], and [Status: Cold Resistance] became almost imperceptible.
That was because [Status: Copper Skin and Iron Bones] included an all-round improvement to his physical capabilities.
So aside from obtaining those statuses by opening Memory Fragments, Chen Miao had little desire to spend yin virtue on upgrading them himself.
And because of the Extreme Yin Body-Refining Art, [Status: Copper Skin and Iron Bones] offered Chen Miao much less improvement in reality than it did in the Mortal World.
Previously, Chen Miao could only stare at those statuses listed there, with nothing else he could do.
Now that he had the State Fusion ability, many of the statuses could be put to better use.
However, fusing statuses required yin virtue.
Of all the notebook's new functions, this was the one Chen Miao believed would devour the most yin virtue!
Under the rules of status fusion, different statuses required different amounts of yin virtue to fuse.
Chen Miao sorted his current statuses into categories.
Initial Tier statuses were the most basic ones
