The three of them arrived at the autopsy room just as Zou Shang came out.
"Perfect timing. Send this sample for testing, then have someone move the body into cold storage."
Zou Shang held out the sample.
"Team Leader, I have something to tell you."
Zou Shang, who had been about to leave, stopped.
"What is it?"
"Well, we think those remains may not belong to the same victim, so we came back to examine them again."
Zou Shang froze.
"They don't belong to the same victim? How did you reach that conclusion?"
Zou Shang recalled his examination of the remains.
Although the examination hadn't been his main focus, he had still given them a general look. The broken and cut surfaces showed signs of decomposition, but they all matched up.

Chen Xue glared at Shi Ying. She was about to speak when Zou Shang barked at her.
"Chen Xue! You've been working here for years. How could you make a mistake like this?"
