Old Zheng stood outside the interrogation room, smoking.

Beside him, Old Li looked at him in puzzlement. "Aren't you going in?"

Old Zheng narrowed his eyes.

"There are a few things I can't figure out."

Old Zheng frowned deeply as he recalled how the man had looked when he was arrested.

"Why did he seem like he'd been waiting for us for a long time? Did he know he'd get caught?"

"And the way he preserved those two heads and the body parts was a little too professional."

"What puzzles me most is this: if he could dump those body parts without leaving a trace, why did he keep the others? What was he trying to achieve?"

Old Zheng took a hard drag on his cigarette.

Old Li had questions too, of course, but they would have to find the answers themselves.

After they had spent about five minutes in the hallway, someone brought Old Li the suspect's file.

After reading it, Old Li exclaimed in astonishment, "He was a forensic examiner too!"

Old Zheng froze for a moment, then stubbed out his cigarette and took the file.

Once he finished reading it, some of his questions were answered.

"Come on. Let's question him!"

Holding the file, Old Zheng headed toward the interrogation room with Old Li, his expression grave.

He had expected a tough battle, but no one could have imagined that in just half an hour, the suspect would confess everything about the case, including his motive!

Old Zheng looked at the notes in his hands, then at the old forensic examiner handcuffed to the chair.

There was more than anger in his eyes. There was also... a complicated mix of emotions!

Turning to Old Li, Old Zheng said, "Have someone detain Zou Shang and his nephew first."
