Outside the Snowcap Mountain area.
A frontline reporter and his crew, who had been broadcasting live updates to the rest of the Island Nation, were now facing the camera, the reporter speaking frantically with terror written all over his face.
"Viewers, did you see that? The foot of Snowcap Mountain has become a living hell. Something horrifying is happening there. I can't stay here any longer. I have to leave."
"One last warning to everyone: do not come anywhere near Snowcap Mountain. Stay away! Whatever you do, stay away!"
With that, the reporter lowered his microphone and called for his colleagues to leave.
He completely ignored the phone ringing incessantly on him!
Compared to getting sensational firsthand footage, all he wanted now was to get out of this godforsaken place!
Seeing this, the other crew members immediately packed up their equipment and ran after him.
But after only a few steps, the reporter realized something was wrong.
Turning around, he looked at the cameraman standing frozen in place with the camera on his shoulder.
"Matsushita! What are you doing? Come on!"
The reporter shouted, but the cameraman did not budge.
Cursing under his breath, the reporter rushed over and grabbed the cameraman's shoulder.
"Matsushita, what are you waiting for? Don't you know your family is waiting for you..."
Halfway through his sentence, the reporter suddenly noticed something was off.
He looked at the back of the cameraman's head.
Something seemed to be moving beneath his hair.
Instinctively, the reporter reached out and parted the cameraman's hair.
A scarlet eyeball stared straight into his eyes.
Thud! Thud! Thud! Bang!
The reporter staggered backward several steps and fell onto his backside, his face deathly pale.
At that moment, the cameraman finally moved, tossing the camera from his shoulder onto the ground.
