Shen Xi had just arrived near the Shi Residence when she saw Ye Jiang Fan walking out of its main gate.
Their eyes met, and both paused in surprise.
Then Ye Jiang Fan walked over.
"You're here too. Perfect. Come with me to find Luo Sheng and the others. We can compare what we've learned."
Shen Xi glanced at the servant who had escorted Ye Jiang Fan out of the Shi Residence, then followed him without saying much.
Once they were away from the gates, Ye Jiang Fan said, "You've probably heard about the Shi Residence too. I went in as a spirit medium, and the owner received me."
"After I demonstrated some unusual abilities, the owner was very welcoming. But he didn't reveal anything else. He said we would discuss matters with a few other spirit mediums this afternoon."
"I didn't see the other 'spirit mediums' inside, so I still don't know much about the situation. Once we find Luo Sheng and the others, we can discuss our next steps."
After explaining his situation, Ye Jiang Fan asked what Shen Xi had learned. Her information was largely the same as his.
That meant the zombies in Whitegrass Town had already become common knowledge.
As for where the zombies had come from or why they had appeared, they had no further information for the moment.
Not long after they reached the inn, Luo Sheng and Ke Meng returned one after the other.
After comparing notes, they found that they had all learned roughly the same things. Every lead pointed to the Shi Residence.
"My suggestion is for one person to enter the Shi Residence with me and gather more information openly, while the other two stay out of sight. If anything happens, they'll be able to catch the enemy off
