The old master of ceremonies was equally straightforward, saying he would finish handing over his duties and start work within a week.
Although the man had yet to arrive, Chen Miao already felt relieved. Once the old master of ceremonies came, he would have much more time to spare.
During that week, Chen Miao did plenty of things besides keeping up with work.

Over seven days, working two or three hours a day, he had actually drawn nine talismans!
His talisman box now held ten in total.
There were two Yin-Gathering Talismans, two Yin-Dispelling Talismans, three Spirit-Sealing Talismans, two Corpse-Control Talismans, and one Heart-Linked Talisman.
He had made two Corpse-Control Talismans solely because, in both of the previous incidents, he had ended up needing one despite thinking he would not.
If he had had an extra Corpse-Control Talisman during the Yue Xiaodao incident, he could have handled things with much more composure.
