"How confident are you?"
Chen Miao asked.
Shi Manman said nothing. After putting on gloves, she reached out and felt Luo Yucheng's face, then examined it from several different angles.
Only after finishing did Shi Manman remove her gloves and say, "Right now, I can't see what he originally looked like, so I can't be certain of the specifics."
"But as a rough estimate, I should be able to restore about twenty-five percent of his original appearance. For a more accurate assessment, I'd need to clear out everything that's already been used to fill his face."
Chen Miao nodded, signaled to Li Fu, then walked out with Shi Manman.
Chen Miao first asked Shi Manman to return to her office, then took Luo Yucheng's parents back to the service hall.
He had Kong Fang attend to them for a while, went upstairs to print out an agreement, then came back down.
"Mr. Luo, Miss Liao, I've now familiarized myself with the deceased's condition."
"It's been four or five days since he passed away, hasn't it? His seventh-day rites are only a few days away. I imagine you don't want to keep putting him through all this?"
Seeing them nod, Chen Miao continued, "Our funeral home is willing to take your son."
Gratitude appeared on Luo Yucheng's parents' faces.
Beside them, however, Kong Fang kept shooting Chen Miao meaningful looks. The anxiety on his face made it clear that he wanted Chen Miao not to agree.
But Chen Miao ignored Kong Fang and pushed the agreement across instead.
"Choosing Tianmen Funeral Home shows your trust in us, and we'll do our best to live up to that trust."
"But given what you've done before, to be honest, I need to protect myself."
Luo Yucheng's parents looked at the agreement, their gratitude
