Every five years, the Soul Master World held a grand event: the Continental Elite Soul Master Tournament.
The Continental Elite Soul Master Tournament was the largest martial soul competition in the Soul Master World, jointly organized by the Heaven Dou and Star Luo Empires with Spirit Hall's assistance. The competitors' strength was second only to that of the participants in Spirit Hall's elite selection tournament.
To enter the tournament, competitors had to meet two conditions: first, they had to be soul masters; second, they had to be under twenty-five.
The tournament also had strict rules. Seven people took the field in each match, and no deaths were permitted during competition. Medicines or food created by soul masters other than food-type and healing-type soul masters were forbidden. No weapons other than martial souls were allowed, either.
