After bidding Huang Shan farewell, Mo Yun soon found Commander Li practicing his saber techniques in the courtyard.

Commander Li sheathed his saber and casually wiped the sweat from his forehead. At the question, he burst out laughing. "There certainly has! Little Mo, your timing couldn't be better!"
He beckoned Mo Yun over to sit with him at the stone table in the corner of the courtyard. After pouring himself some tea and wetting his throat, he continued:
"There's a Nine Dragons Town in western Qilin County. A demon attacked it yesterday, leaving over a hundred dead or injured!"

Commander Li set down his cup, his expression darkening as well. "Nine Dragons Town backs onto Nine Dragons Mountain. The terrain there is a tangled maze of steep slopes and countless caves. Once a demon hides deep in those mountains, tracking it down is no simple matter!"
"Our Crouching Tiger Manor owns a mining operation near Nine Dragons Town-a red iron mine that employs over a thousand miners."
"They sent us a plea for help immediately, hoping we could find and kill the demon as soon as possible. Otherwise, everyone will remain terrified, and the miners won't dare report for work. It's disrupting operations."
