Meanwhile, Manjushri Bodhisattva had only just reached Black Wind Mountain. Upon seeing Sun Wukong, he was about to hand over Tang Sanzang's new kasaya when he noticed something wrong at Spirit Mountain.

Screaming Arhats and disciples of the Western Religion were everywhere.
Countless Bodhisattvas and Arhats had thrown themselves into frantic rescue efforts.
