The monsters in the group finally understood the White Bone Demon's ingenious setup, just as Sandy had.
"Of course. Everything in the world needs a reasonable explanation."
The White Bone Demon said smugly, "I painstakingly designed all this. There, now you all understand."
"Understanding is one thing, but what the hell is any of this good for?"
"Will it make Tang Sanzang drive Sha Wujing away?"
"Or did you just flesh out your backstory as a monster who specializes in collecting secrets? What... what are you trying to do?"
The monsters understood the setup, but they still couldn't understand why the White Bone Demon had taken such a roundabout route.
"Hehe, keep watching and you'll find out. The fish is already taking the bait."
The White Bone Demon remained maddeningly cryptic.
"Tell me, where is your Granny?"
Sandy's eyes flickered. By now, he wanted to take on the Granny these little monsters spoke of all by himself.
"Granny... she's in the White Bone Cave at the highest point of the snowfield," the monster answered truthfully.

Sandy raised his head and looked toward the highest peak of White Bone Ridge.
"Answer one last question. What exactly does this charcoal do?" Sandy's gaze finally settled on the charcoal scattered across the ground.
If the matches had such effects, he didn't believe the charcoal had no special effects of its own.
Besides, with weather this strange, he didn't believe matches and charcoal had conveniently appeared together by sheer coincidence.
