Heavenly Dao Hongjun frowned slightly. "That doesn't seem appropriate. What we're doing concerns the safety of the entire Primordial World."
The Lord of Fate was helpless. "I know, I know. But I really am in a hurry. Your strength has been steadily increasing, while mine alone hasn't made any major breakthroughs. If this continues, the balance between us will be broken."
Heavenly Dao Hongjun was speechless, but there was a sliver of truth in what he said. "I hope you won't stir up trouble."
He actually did not particularly want the Lord of Fate to break through. Although this fellow was the weakest of the three, he was far too good at making trouble. Nearly half the crises, great and small, in the Primordial World had been caused by his reckless antics.
If he were allowed to break through, who knew what new mischief he might cause?
But if he were not allowed to, this fellow would probably refuse to accept it!
