The man was utterly exasperated. "Brother, what are you doing? What do you gain by clinging to us?"
Demon Emperor Daochen smiled faintly. "These stone people should be native creatures, not beings from some world, right?"
The man nodded. "Yes, they're native creatures."
He did not want to answer, either, but this fellow simply would not leave him alone.
Demon Emperor Daochen looked around.
"This feels completely different from the Newbie Zone. World-scale wars hardly ever happen here!"
The man gave the Demon Emperor a surprised look. "Heh, you're new here, aren't you? You must be pretty strong. Surviving until now is no easy feat."
"If you want to see a war, just wait until tonight. Once the sky gradually darkens, it'll be time to slaughter one another."
A bloodthirsty gleam appeared in the man's eyes. "Don't get scared witless or burst into tears when the time comes."
His words immediately piqued the Demon Emperor's interest. It seemed he had simply arrived at the wrong time.
He needed to wait until night.
Interesting.
These little stone people had erupted into turmoil quickly, but they settled down just as quickly.
Before long, they had scattered everywhere again.
Demon Emperor Daochen quietly awaited nightfall.
As time slowly passed, the people hiding in the shadows gradually emerged. They stared intently at their surroundings, as though sizing one another up as prey.
Suddenly, a group of people appeared on the battlefield.
They wore distinctive attire and looked thoroughly imposing.
"The usual rules: pair off and fight to the death. The winner gets the opponent's origin and everything else they possess. The loser disappears from this world forever."
"Of course, the required supplies must be paid in full."
After speaking, these people rose into the air, seemingly recording something.
Demon Emperor Daochen stroked his chin.
