Demon Emperor Daochen looked at him. "I'll leave these Six-Star Worlds to you, Commander. When can you give me the corresponding worlds from the Chaos Faction?"
The commander thought for a moment. "One day. Give me one day, and I'll have everything settled for you, Overlord."
The Demon Emperor smiled faintly. "Good. Sorry for the trouble, Commander."
The commander smiled. "My name is Adolf. May I ask your name, Overlord?"
Demon Emperor Daochen introduced himself. "The Overlord of Strength, Demon Emperor Daochen."
The two exchanged contact information.
The Demon Emperor liked this way of doing business. After all, devouring Six-Star Worlds from the Order Faction would bring trouble sooner or later, and he had to avoid that trouble as early as possible.
This arrangement was perfect. Both sides got what they needed, and they could safeguard the Order Faction's interests as well. Why wouldn't he do it?
Watching Adolf leave, the Demon Emperor smiled faintly. Though he was an Overlord, these commanders held equally high standing. The two sides could be considered equals.
No battlefield commander should be underestimated. They might not be Overlords, but they possessed the ability to fight one.
Just then, a group of mercenaries gathered around him.
They were all former members of the Golden Crow Mercenary Corps.
"Your Majesty, Demon Emperor, we were wrong. Please don't drive us away."
"We aren't afraid of dying. We just don't want to throw our lives away for nothing. Please forgive us, Your Majesty."
"Your Majesty, please let us follow you, no matter what. Don't drive us away."
Demon Emperor Daochen looked at them in puzzlement. "When did I ever say I would drive you away?"
"If you're worrying about not joining me in battle earlier, I can give you a clear answer now: I don't mind."
"But as
