The Angel King suddenly awoke. He looked coldly around him. "Well played, Illusion God. To think you could deploy such a powerful Illusion Formation."

"Very good. You won't be so lucky the next time I meet you."

He did not pursue the Abyss Lord, but instead went to the Angel Race's army.

He surveyed the densely packed War Angels and the Cherub who stood apart from the rest.

"Wisdom Angel, your intentions were impure. You conspired with an outside enemy and betrayed your king. What should be done with you?"

The Cherub laughed. "So it failed after all? Great Angel King, you truly are powerful. But I've already left. Thank you for looking after me all these years."

The Cherub's body flickered several times. It turned out to be nothing more than a technologically projected illusion.

Meanwhile, within the Abyss Empire, a group of War Angels and a Cherub were meeting with the Abyss Lord.

They could no longer be called angels. Their forms had become utterly dark.

They had fallen. A group of the Fallen Angel Race had fully merged into the Abyss.

"I never imagined the Angel King would be so powerful. Had I known, I would never have betrayed him so readily."

"The Angel King has already become a legendary being. An eighteen-winged angel-even in legends, that is the strongest existence."

The Abyss Lord gave a bitter laugh. "Powerful hardly begins to describe him. He's an absolute monster. I'm afraid even I can only fight him by relying on the Abyss Heavenly Dao."

There was something the Abyss Lord left unsaid. He even felt that relying on the Abyss Heavenly Dao might not be enough to deal with the Angel King.

But what did that matter? Whether they could deal with him or not, they had to.
