In the Sea of Illusion Gods, a terrifying abyssal rift had appeared.
Directly above the abyssal rift, like a mirage, an enormous, ancient Heavenly Pass hung upside down in midair, its appearance inspiring profound dread.
As time passed, the image above grew clearer and clearer, so clear it was frightening.
It was as though this thing was about to pass from illusion into reality.
Terrifying figures stood atop the Heavenly Pass. Merely looking at them was enough to make one feel suffocated.
They were evil, terrifying, and steeped in murderous intent.
By now, the Abyss Lord and the Angel King had completely sealed off the area.
The two also stood near the Heavenly Pass, guarding the place.
They were waiting for the Great Void God King.
"What the hell is this thing? It clearly looks like an illusion, so why do I keep feeling that these things will come out?"
At their level of strength, many things were far from as simple as they seemed.
Take this thing before them. If even they felt that the things inside were about to emerge, then those things really might come out and become real.
After all, they were at the World King realm. Ordinary illusion formations had no effect on them whatsoever. A single glance allowed them to observe the fundamental laws of this world.
Before long, the Great Void God King rushed over, his forehead drenched in sweat.
"The Inverted Sky Pass? Has it appeared here too?"
His voice arrived before he did.
And when he stood there in person, he was utterly stunned.
"It's appeared here too. The Inverted Sky Pass, the Endless Abyss... damn it! All that's missing is King's Hell."
The two looked at him in bewilderment, having no idea what he was talking about.
