Looking at the bull demon listening attentively before him, Laozi grew a little wistful. "You are now a great Luo golden immortal. You could be called the only demon in the Primordial World whose cultivation has gone so smoothly."
Without the Demon Emperor's sage power to help him, who knew how long it would have taken him to reach such a realm?
Yet now he had attained it with ease. Such a fortuitous convergence of opportunities was truly rare.
Understanding dawned on the bull demon. "In that case, I really must thank His Majesty the Demon Emperor. His Majesty bestowed this sage power upon me to aid my cultivation. His kindness towers like a mountain!"
Laozi nodded slightly. "Indeed. That is also why I am willing to take you as my disciple. You possess excellent aptitude, and with such abundant fortune, you are worthy of becoming a sage's disciple."
With that, he summoned Great Master Xuandu.
"This is my only disciple, Xuan Du. He will be your eldest senior brother."
Finally, he looked at Master Xuandu. "This is your junior brother. His true form is an azure ox. Guide his cultivation well from now on. I must return to seclusion."
Laozi turned to the bull demon. "Do you have a name or title?"
The bull demon froze for a moment. "Honored Master, please bestow a religious name upon me."
"I was born in the Wildlands and stumbled my way through life. Everyone calls me Old Bull, and I have grown used to it."
Laozi nodded slightly. "You old bull possess tremendous brute strength, but little else that stands out. Then I shall bestow upon you the title Mighty Bull Devil King."
"I hope you will exercise care and caution in your future cultivation. Know this: on the path of cultivation,
