They followed the centipede into the building at the very center. Calling it a building was generous; it was merely a cluster of rooms built from piled-up boulders.
When they walked inside and looked around,

"Honored Lord of the Primordial World, you have finally arrived. I was so afraid you wouldn't make it here."
A voice came from somewhere unknown. This fellow communicated with them in fluent Primordial World speech.
Daochen frowned at the fellow before him. "You went to such lengths to lure us here. What exactly do you want?"
At Daochen's question, the fellow before him looked utterly miserable.
"I want to return to the Primordial World. I want to go back and feel its presence again. I've been trapped here too long-so long that I've forgotten what the Primordial World felt like."
Daochen's brows knitted tightly as he looked at this incoherent fellow.

Daochen scrutinized the fellow before him. He simply could not understand what this fellow meant.
The fellow before him suddenly seemed to come to his senses. "Oh, oh, I forgot to introduce myself. Sorry. My thoughts are completely muddled now. I've been trapped here, unable to communicate with anyone, and I've almost forgotten how to speak to others."
