Chapter Summaries

Five Susanoo turned the battle in the Allied Shinobi Forces’ favor, prompting Obito and Black Zetsu to send their reserve reanimated fighters into battle. Kimimaro revealed Shark Pepper Mode and defeated Hanzō, while the Allied forces defeated the remaining reanimated Kage as night fell.

• Itachi, Shisui, Shin, Sasuke, and Kagetsu activated their Susanoo, killing thousands of White Zetsu and boosting Allied morale.
• Obito and Black Zetsu deployed the previous Five Kage, Chiyo, Hanzō, and other powerful fighters to slow the Allied advance.
• Naruto asked to support the Fifth Division, but Hoshi kept him at command to watch Kimimaro reveal his new combat mode.
• Kimimaro fused Samehada with his Bone Armor, entered Shark Pepper Mode, and overwhelmed Hanzō before Hanzō broke free of Impure World Reincarnation.

As the Allied Shinobi Forces advanced on Amegakure, Hoshi left the command tent for the battlefield while Madara prepared to begin the Eye of the Moon plan. Madara summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, repelled the Five Kage, and called down a massive meteor on the Allied forces.

• Hoshi announced that the decisive battle had begun, left the command tent, and flew toward the battlefield; Minato followed his arrangements and brought Naruto and Killer B with him.
• Madara woke at the Akatsuki base, declared that the time of descent had come, and set out to usher in a new era.
• As the Allied Shinobi Forces approached Amegakure, Madara appeared atop the tower and summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.

Madara’s body became the vessel for Kaguya Ōtsutsuki’s resurrection, but Hoshi revealed he had allowed it to happen so he could confront her. Naruto and Sasuke joined Hoshi, and Kaguya awakened and attacked him, leaving the three ready to face her.

• Black Zetsu used the Chakra gathered from the battlefield and human cocoons to resurrect Kaguya through Madara’s body.

• Sasuke used Amenotejikara to switch places with a severed claw and escape the Acid Sea, reuniting with Naruto and Hoshi.
