After the Blue-Scaled Flood Dragon Liu Changlan and the other three beasts successfully advanced, Liu Changxu turned his attention to his children's marriages.
After arriving on Sea God Star, Liu Changxu and his wives had eight children in succession: his twenty-fifth son, Liu Fujin, born to Wu Xuege; his twenty-sixth son, Liu Fusheng, born to Xiao Zier; his twenty-seventh son, Liu Fuzhao, born to Duan Yuwei; his twenty-eighth son, Liu Fuxing, born to Zi Ling; his twenty-ninth son, Liu Futian, born to Wu Xuege; his seventeenth daughter, Liu Fuxin, born to Zhao Qi'er; his eighteenth daughter, Liu Fuyue, born to Murong Yuyao; and his nineteenth daughter, Liu Fujing, born to Zisu.
To Liu Changxu's satisfaction, all eight children worked extremely hard at their cultivation. Coupled with their outstanding aptitudes, this allowed them to progress rapidly. Even the least advanced among them had already reached the Golden Core Stage, which brought him great comfort.
What still troubled Liu Changxu, however, was that none of these eight children had found a suitable Dao Companion.
As their father, Liu Changxu understood all too well that the path of immortal cultivation was long and arduous, with dangers lurking at every turn.
But with a Dao Companion of comparable strength and kindred heart by their side, things would be different.
