In short, it was always something like that, as though they had to be pushed to the absolute limit.
Only at the very last moment would they erupt in a desperate burst of power. No matter how you looked at it, they seemed timid.
They had none of the bearing of the innate divine beings of legend.
But that raised a question.
Back when they had possessed that legendary bearing,
