Within an enormous world, things did not seem like a world in the traditional sense.
It lacked a world barrier, that fundamental feature that protected a world against the encroachment of Chaos.
Yet it had not suffered any encroachment from Chaos either.
It was not that Chaos had become useless. Chaos still possessed a powerful invasive force.
And it constantly produced all manner of ripples.
They formed wave after wave of chaotic fluid, like the rippling currents of a tide!
This corrosive force, which also carried a tremendous impact, was the nightmare of most Daluo Golden Immortals who ventured out to experience the power of Chaos.
But in fact, it posed little problem here.
This artificial world remained safe and sound.
On this vast world-continent, which appeared to consist of solid matter like stone...
The continent seemed to be a single whole, a neatly squared octahedron!
And on closer inspection, one could discover edges and corners everywhere around it, on every side!
From a distance, it looked like an octahedron. In reality, every part of it had all manner of edges and corners, making it impossible to say how many faces it had.
It could only be described as an n-sided polyhedron!
And atop this vast expanse of solid matter...
There was what looked like a very strange formation!
It differed from the conventional formations commonly found in the Primordial World.
Those could be understood as starting from a single point and spreading Spiritual Power outward with that point as their center.
This formed a ring-shaped protective barrier.
And their many different formation nodes could also serve different functions.
Of course, having more nodes did not necessarily mean a formation was stronger.
First
