Zhunti and Jieyin had stood to one side the entire time.
Seeing how poorly the others got along, the two exchanged a glance and laughed.
"Senior Brother, it seems those fellows in the east aren't as harmonious as we imagined."
Zhunti spoke with a hint of gloating.
"The east may be prosperous, but Yuanshi and Laozi are far too calculating."
"When Sages quarrel, living beings suffer. This is precisely when our Western Lands must step in to guide them to salvation."
"Indeed."
The two hit it off at once, arriving at the same idea.
"Haha, in that case, Senior Brother, I think we can win Saint Nuwa over. Why don't we get in touch with her?"
When it came to scheming, Zhunti and Jieyin had always been masters.
Jieyin nodded at his words.

Both assumed Nuwa would return to her own cultivation grounds.
