The little lobster had now,
after transforming amid a vast expanse of azure light,
grown from the size of a fist into a behemoth a full seven meters long!
He lay sprawled over the coral reef that had once seemed like an entire continent to him.
And now that coral reef,
compared with his body, which had grown dozens or even hundreds of times larger, seemed as tiny as an infant's chair beneath a seated adult.
All six of his claws spread wide, no longer much resembling a Boston Lobster's jointed legs. Three sharp talons lined up on each shone with red light.
Two half-meter-long antennae on his head twisted toward the ocean's sky-the surface-like ancient trees rooted in the deep sea!
The dense scales covering his body looked as though they had been forged into the finest armor, the kind only royalty and nobility on this continent could afford.
They radiated a luster that neither metal nor stone could rival!
And his slender tail fan, which should have had three sections, had somehow quietly acquired a mane.
The azure mane stretched from the very tip of the transformed lobster's tail almost all the way to his neck!
If someone from this era had seen the lobster in this form,
whether they came from the East or the West,
they would surely have shouted, "Sea monster!"
But if a modern person from the twenty-first century stood here,
assuming they were not too stunned to speak,
they would definitely have shouted:
"Holy shit! East meets West, and both are blooming! Did a Boston Lobster have an affair, or was an Eastern dragon getting freaky?"
Indeed, this lobster now looked like a giant Boston Lobster wearing an Eastern dragon model!
"Hmm, only an early-stage Earth Immortal?"
