Yog-Sothoth had drawn on power nearly equivalent to the peak of a mid-ranking Great Old One.
He immediately noticed that something was amiss with everyone.
Especially Ithaqua, who was scared out of his wits. A small mountain range of ice had already accumulated beneath his feet!
The other two, however, stood their ground.
Yog-Sothoth clearly sensed the chilling killing intent hidden within the dense layers of Purple Thorns overhead.
Yog-Sothoth had no doubt that if he revealed even the slightest intention of attacking,
the surrounding Purple Thorns, ostensibly keeping these planets in motion, would immediately hurl those planets at him without hesitation!
The Mysterious Lord opposite him was much the same.
As an Upper Great Old One who had opened the gate of omniscience, Yog-Sothoth
could clearly see the threads of laws.
And in Yog-Sothoth's eyes-or rather, in his perception-
beneath the Mysterious Lord's enormous stellar body, comparable to a genuine planet, golden-red magma surged like an avalanche tumbling from a mountaintop to its foot.
Under that hard shell of purple crystal, a crosshair glowing red was trained directly on him!
The annihilation law? Judging by how complete it is, he must have mastered at least four levels of it!
Yog-Sothoth calculated.
But even now, he had not forgotten that he needed to dispel these two beings' wariness.
And he cautioned himself inwardly:
I came to verify their identities. The neighboring world is still at war. I can't divert too much power to deal with them right now. Hold back.
Then Yog-Sothoth released pheromones conveying friendliness.
And communicated in the language of souls:
"Your Excellency Mysterious Lord, Your Excellency Violet Thornflower, you needn't be so wary of me. Though that is perfectly natural, I truly mean no harm. I simply need to divert sufficient power to analyze this cultivation method."
