What did bodily cultivation at its highest level look like in the Primordial World?

Many people thought bodily cultivators were the sort who could easily fall victim to body possession by soul cultivators, or be controlled outright.
Their weaknesses seemed glaring.
But in reality, that was not how things worked.
Ordinary bodily cultivators in the early stages could, of course, be affected by soul-based powers.
Having their anger, sorrow, or joy stirred up was one thing. The real danger was being forcibly possessed and turned into a zombie.
The body they had painstakingly trained their entire lives would become a tool for aiding a tyrant in his atrocities.
Many bodily cultivators could not stomach that.
But once they reached the immortal realm.
The weaknesses of bodily cultivators gradually began to diminish.
First, there was something quite important.
The three immortal tribulations.
The three immortal tribulations were considered the gateway to immortality, three calamities every cultivator seeking immortality had to overcome.
They were the human immortal tribulation.
The thunder tribulation.
And the immortal ascension tribulation!
These three introductory calamities of the immortal realm were collectively called the three immortal tribulations!
