I revised some of the previous chapter's content.
I, Old Dream, read quite a few reader reviews of the previous chapter, and some readers raised three questions: first, Gungun did not receive any merit; second, there was infighting within the Human Race; third, Feng Ling left the Human Race.
Let me address these one by one. As for not receiving merit, I have now changed that so Gungun received one-tenth of it. How should I put this? Originally, I intended for Nuwa to bestow some merit on Gungun before all the living beings of the Primordial World while she was preaching the Dao. But from the looks of things, it would be better to have the Heavenly Dao give the merit directly to Gungun, just as it did with the gourd vine and breath soil.
Second, the infighting within the Human Race. I honestly do not know why some readers saw it that way. I do not consider this infighting. Infighting means scheming against one another or fighting to the death, whereas Feng Ling merely used her imposing aura to cow all her people. And according to the rules of the Primordial World, the first to be born is the strongest and holds the highest standing. So Feng Ling displayed her strength and let her people sense the bloodline within her, winning their allegiance that way. I do not think there is anything wrong with that. If she did not step forward, who would look after the Human Race?
Third, leaving the Human Race. All right, that really was my mistake. When I wrote it yesterday, I failed to notice that my wording was inappropriate. What I
