Buddha Tathagata had thought for ages, but he still could not come up with a good solution. In the end, he could only use these final moments to bury a seed in the hearts of all the immortals and gods.
A seed called resentment.
He wanted every being under heaven to know that Yang Jian's actions were evil, something the Three Realms could not tolerate.
He wanted to kindle discontent in every being across the Three Realms, make them all resist the Heavenly Court and refuse its rule, and leave Yang Jian deserted by followers and loved ones alike.
Tathagata thought that, as long as he could accomplish this, the combined efforts of all the beings in the Three Realms might actually allow someone to enter the Daluo Realm and truly unseat Yang Jian.
The hope was slim, but at least there was still hope, wasn't there?
