When Shin Uchiha turned his gaze toward Naruto Uzumaki, Naruto grew even more nervous and asked anxiously, "Uncle Shin, what do I need to do?"
Seeing Naruto Uzumaki's nervous little face, Shin Uchiha's smile grew gentler. He patted the boy's head and reassured him, "Relax, it'll be fine. Just lie down on the bed. This won't take long, so don't worry."

Just as Shin Uchiha spotted the Nine-Tails, the fox lying on the ground noticed the uninvited guest as well. He raised his head, staring at the newcomer through the iron bars with his enormous eyes, and said, "That ominous presence and that familiar, cold Eye Power... another evil Uchiha?"
Shin Uchiha showed no reaction to the Nine-Tails' hostility. After all, he knew how much the Nine-Tails had suffered at Madara
