Shin Uchiha looked at Yugao leaning by the window and called out with a smile, "Hey, little Yugao."
Uzuki Yugao had been lost in thought. The moment she heard Shin Uchiha's voice, her ears practically perked up. She jerked her head toward the sound and saw him standing there, smiling at her.
Uzuki Yugao froze for a moment, then immediately snapped out of it. She jumped straight out of the window and reached Shin Uchiha in a few quick steps. With her hands behind her back and her eyes brimming with delight, she said, "Shin, you finally came to see me! How was it? Was the mission dangerous? Are you tired?"
Looking at Uzuki Yugao before him, Shin Uchiha raised a hand to stroke her hair and said with a smile, "I just got back yesterday. I missed you, so I came to see you."
At his words, Uzuki Yugao's large eyes narrowed with happiness, though she still asked with concern, "You only got back yesterday? Have you had enough rest?"
Shin Uchiha smiled and nodded. "Don't worry, I've had enough rest. What about you? What were you doing?"
Uzuki Yugao had already reached out with both hands and linked her arm through his. "Daydreaming," she answered cheerfully. "I couldn't think of anything to do."
Shin Uchiha glanced at the sun and realized it was almost noon. "Then would I have the honor of inviting our lovely young lady to lunch?"
Uzuki Yugao couldn't stop grinning at his words. Beaming, she replied, "Since you're being so sincere, I'll give you the chance."
As soon as she finished speaking, Uzuki Yugao dissolved into laughter and eagerly pulled her Shin away to shop and eat.
