Standing in the shadows, Shin Uchiha closed his eyes briefly after copying Darui's Storm Release. After carefully considering and digesting it, a glow appeared at his fingertip, exactly the same color as the light Darui had produced when using Storm Release.
Shin Uchiha raised his hand and studied the glow at his fingertip, then rubbed his fingers together and snuffed it out.

Suddenly, a ninja wrapped in a red chakra cloak charged toward Shin Uchiha from behind, raising his right arm to strike him.
Shin Uchiha had detected him before he charged over. However, he wanted to test this Eight-Tails Jinchuriki's mettle, so he pretended not to have noticed him.
Just as Killer B, wrapped in his Tailed Beast Cloak, was about to hit him, Shin Uchiha raised his right hand at precisely the right moment. He caught Killer B's arm barehanded, effortlessly breaking his Lariat.
Killer B froze when Shin Uchiha caught him so easily. This Nintaijutsu was one of his signature moves, and ever since he had mastered it, it had been virtually unstoppable. Others had countered it before, but this was the first time anyone had done so with such effortless ease.
Still, after a moment of stunned silence, Killer B immediately recovered. With his arm caught, he followed through by raising his leg and kicking at him.
As Killer B's kick came at him, Shin Uchiha released his arm and sent him flying with a single kick.
That kick knocked Killer B straight back, and only with the help of his Tailed Beast Cloak did he barely manage to stop himself.
