When Uchiha Mikoto saw Tsunade, she smiled gratefully at her from where she lay.

"Sorry for the trouble, Lady Tsunade."

Tsunade waved a hand when she heard that and said,

"We're all family. There's no need to be so polite."

After hearing Tsunade's words and glancing at her swollen belly, Uchiha Mikoto understood her relationship with him. She gave Shin, who stood beside her, a reproachful look, but could hardly say anything more.

After giving her a few more instructions, Tsunade took Shin by the hand and led him out of the room.

Once they were outside, Tsunade looked toward the distant sea and asked, "What do you have planned for Mikoto and her daughter? Are you still going to have her take the baby back to Konoha? It really isn't safe for her to live there with a child."

Shin Uchiha smiled faintly at Tsunade's words. He had not expected her to care so much about Mikoto. He slipped an arm around her and said, "I've already discussed it with Mikoto. She'll live in the space for now. With Izumi and Ye here to keep her company and take care of her, we won't have to worry. Whenever she gets bored, I'll take her out for a stroll. Once the baby is a little older, we can let her go out to attend school."

Then Shin Uchiha gently stroked Tsunade's belly and said with a smile, "Besides, that little one will have a playmate in the space later, won't she?"

Of course, Tsunade understood what Shin meant. Her own child would be born before long, and his space was arguably the safest place in the world. She would raise her child there too, so she could rest easy.
