As the people of Kirigakure watched, the giant pinned the Three-Tails down and pummeled him for more than half an hour.
At first, the Three-Tails roared in fury and struggled wildly under the giant's blows, but nothing freed him from his predicament. He even tried opening his mouth to fire a Tailed Beast Bomb, only for a punch from the giant to slam his mouth shut, sending a wisp of smoke curling from the corner.
Then, under the giant's physical discipline, the Three-Tails' furious roars gave way to feeble struggles and cries. Later still, all that remained was faint resistance and twitching limbs.
Finally, he simply lay there, letting the giant beat him without reacting at all. Then, with a bang, the Three-Tails returned to the Fourth Mizukage's body, leaving the Fourth Mizukage lying on the ground. The giant nearly failed to react in time and almost punched him into a pulp.
Seeing that the Three-Tails had broken down under the beating and retreated, Shin Uchiha raised his eyebrows in mild surprise, then stopped the Wooden Human.
By then, the battlefield was a complete mess, covered in marks left by the struggle between the Three-Tails and the wooden giant. Although there had been no casualties, all the houses in this corner of Kirigakure had collapsed and been crushed.
Looking at the Fourth Mizukage lying motionless on the ground, Shin Uchiha jumped down from the giant's head and slowly landed beside him.
At that moment, the Kirigakure spectators hurried over as well, having seen the Wood Release giant summoned by Shin Uchiha beat the Three-Tails unconscious and send him back into the Fourth Mizukage's body.
Shin Uchiha glanced at Genji, Mei Terumi, and the other Kirigakure shinobi approaching, then looked at the Fourth Mizukage lying before him and went no farther.
