Under Konan's puzzled gaze, Shin Uchiha's eyes changed from the Three Tomoe into the Mangekyō Sharingan. But the transformation of his Sharingan did not stop there.
Then the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan spun faster and faster. Before her horrified eyes, the distinctive red background and intricate pattern of the Mangekyō Sharingan faded away. In their place, concentric ripples appeared in Shin's eyes.
Konan knew those ripples very well. After all, she had spent years looking at them. They were exactly like the Rinnegan of Nagato, who had grown up alongside her.
However, Nagato's Rinnegan were pale purple, while the Rinnegan in Shin Uchiha's eyes were purple and gold, making them look far more precious than Nagato's.
