After Sasuke's reminder, Karin remembered the Mind's Eye of the Kagura she had only recently awakened. She stuck out her tongue sheepishly, then hurriedly closed her eyes and used the secret technique.
Soon, Karin opened her eyes again, fixing her gaze on a spot ahead as she called out to Sasuke and Naruto:
"It really is Sakura. She's about six hundred meters ahead of us. Her chakra is very erratic, so she probably isn't in good shape. There are also two very faint chakra signatures beside her. They should be her teammates. Even if they aren't unconscious, they probably can't fight back anymore."
At this point, Karin frowned slightly and continued:
"There are three more people not far from Sakura. They smell disgusting. They must be her enemies."
Sasuke frowned at Karin's words. With a thought, he enveloped himself in bright blue lightning that crackled around his body.
"I'll go ahead and check. Naruto, Karin, follow me."
As soon as he finished speaking, Sasuke seemed to turn into a bolt of lightning, racing forward at incredible speed and leaving only an afterimage in his wake.
Naruto, left behind, was startled by Sasuke's sudden move. Seeing that he had even activated his Lightning Release Armor, Naruto shouted, "You're cheating!" at his retreating back while picking up his own pace.
Sakura was a complete mess. Not only was she covered in injuries, but her clothes were badly torn, and even the long pink hair she had always treasured was tangled and disheveled.
