Hearing that somewhat familiar name, Shin Uchiha paused briefly and turned his gaze toward the arena below.
As Uzuki Yugao's announcement rang out, a petite girl leaped into the arena and landed steadily beside her.
The girl had a lovely face, a slender waist, long, straight legs, and slim arms, all of which made her look cute and playful.
The sight of her made Kiba Inuzuka's eyes light up, despite his lingering disappointment after his match. He immediately dragged Naruto, who had already regained consciousness, over to the railing and whispered to him:
"Naruto, Naruto, look! That girl looks really cute. Way better than Sakura."
At that, Kiba Inuzuka seemed to remember something. He glanced around and asked in puzzlement:
"Huh? Why haven't I seen Sakura? Did she get eliminated in the Forest of Death?"
Practically everyone in their class knew Naruto liked Sakura, and Kiba Inuzuka was no exception.
Hearing Kiba Inuzuka's words, Naruto remembered what had happened to Sakura. He nodded reluctantly and explained:
"Sakura's team ran into those guys from Otogakure in the Forest of Death. Both her teammates were pretty badly hurt, though Sakura wasn't, so they dropped out of the rest of the exam."
Kiba Inuzuka merely nodded casually at Naruto's explanation before looking back down at the arena. He nudged Naruto with his elbow and asked:
"Naruto, take a look down there. That girl's way cuter than Sakura. Just forget about your precious Sakura already."
Kiba Inuzuka had never cared much for Sakura, who was always pestering Sasuke in class, so he felt no regret at all upon hearing that she had been eliminated.
