Mabui frowned slightly at Samui's explanation. Something felt wrong, especially about the two people beside Samui. They kept giving her a sense that something was off.
Still, Mabui trusted Samui. After hearing her explanation, she nodded despite her lingering doubts and said,
"Samui, once you've seen them off, come to the Raikage's Office. Lord Raikage has urgent instructions for you concerning Lord Killer B."
At Mabui's words, Samui finally felt her anxious heart settle. Still, she merely nodded without betraying anything and replied,
"All right. Once I've seen them off, I'll report to Lord Raikage."
Mabui nodded at Samui's reply. After another glance at the two people beside her, she turned and left.
Once Mabui was gone, Samui wasted no more time. She led Shin Uchiha and his companion toward the outskirts of Kumogakure, explaining quietly as they walked,
"Mabui, the woman we just met, is Lord Raikage's secretary. She's very capable at her job and is one of his most valuable assistants.
If she had suspected us just now, we probably would have had to cause quite a commotion before leaving Kumogakure."
