What Shin Uchiha had not expected was that the moment he finished speaking, Hinata turned straight around. She even forgot to cover her eyes as she stared at him and said in a panic:
"I came to Shikkotsu Forest entirely of my own free will. I like being with you, Shin. It has nothing to do with Lady Tsunade."
By the time she finished, Hinata's eyes had reddened slightly, and tears welled in them, looking ready to fall at any moment.
Hearing her words, Shin Uchiha paused for a moment, then nodded with a smile and said:
"If you came willingly, Hinata, then of course I'm happy. Let me make somewhere suitable for you to stay."
With that, Shin Uchiha formed several hand seals under Hinata's puzzled gaze, then pressed his hands against the ground.

As Shin Uchiha performed his Wood Release, a small, two-story wooden house swiftly rose from the ground in front of him.
After completing the technique, Shin Uchiha nodded in satisfaction, then said to Hinata beside him:
"There. Since you want to come keep me company when you have time, you can rest here."
Hinata had been staring in astonishment, but his words immediately brought her back to her senses. A blush spread across her face, and she nodded shyly.
Seeing this, Shin Uchiha tapped his forehead in sudden realization and explained:
"Hinata, don't get the wrong idea. I meant you can rest inside when you're tired. I'll be busy training and won't have time to keep you company."
Hearing his words, Hinata immediately nodded and said:
"Don't worry, Shin. I won't disturb you. Just watching from the sidelines makes me happy."
At that, Shin Uchiha could only nod without saying anything more. After getting Hinata settled, he returned to his training.
